Musings of irregular cadence

Had a lovely afternoon painting and crafting with some friends. This was only the second time I painted something original (and not those paint by numbers kits), and while I wouldn't quit my day job to become a full time painter, I do love the process of experimenting and letting the paint lead me. I'm quite happy with the painting that I did, but I won't share it here because it's a gift and I want to keep it under wraps for now. 😁
