Musings of irregular cadence

Tried out a 2-player board game with my roommate today called Targi ~ I like it! It reminds me of Settlers of Catan (where you have to collect resources), Arboretum (with the display in front of you scoring specific points), and Wingspan (where cards give you abilities). Fun fun fun! My roommate won with 41 points to my 23 and I have a lot of respect for his strategy which was to load up on resources from the beginning. I was banking on ability cards but I got some pretty crappy ones that didn't help me at the start at all. Also I've learned that gold coins are very useful. I'll be more prepared to strategize next time I play! 😎
